Take a car for a few hours or a few days. Upshift is built for convenience and flexibility.
1 day is any period up to 24 hours, even if that period crosses midnight. Request your car within our full service zone and we’ll have it to you in 30-45 minutes.
Drive whenever you want. Days don't need to be consecutive.
Plans renew 1 month after you set them up, rather than the calendar month. If you sign up for Upshift on the 8th, for example, your billing cycle will always start on the 8th of the month.
Yes, plans can be shared, but only with your significant other or with other employees of your company for $39/month/shared account.
Sure can! International and domestic members are all welcome.
Additional days beyond your plan cost $69 (Flexcommuter), $79 (Freedom) or $89 (Getaway). Unused days also roll over 1 month so you can build up days for that big road trip!
Nope! You can cancel any time with 30 days notice. If this goes into another billing cycle, then your plan will cancel after the end of that new billing cycle. Any unused days will expire once your subscription ends. Plan upgrades or downgrades have a 3 month minimum commitment.
Upshift is the smart alternative to owning your own car. If you don't agree after your first day, we'll refund your subscription.
This is a one time non-refundable $499 fee to get you started with Upshift. You will be charged this when your membership is approved. This is separate from your monthly payment.
You can swap between a Toyota Prius and a Toyota RAV4 hybrid SUV depending on your needs. All of our cars are identical down to the spec, trim, and white paint so you always feel like you are driving “your” car.
All plans come with unlimited miles.
