We deliver 8am–4pm daily. We’ll park the car within two blocks of your address — you unlock with the app and drive. For early morning start times, we can deliver the day before. After hour returns, we pick up the following day.

Most members schedule delivery 24+ hours in advance. For <24 hour notice requests, delivery is $30 and we can typically get it to you within 1 hour between 8am–4pm. Need it faster? Pick up the closest available car for free. You can unlock and drive via app 24/7. No one to meet. No paperwork.

Collision and liability insurance is included and mileage-based. Get 250, 500, or 750 miles/month. Extra miles are 50¢ each. All cars are fully insured when you drive. See more about our insurance policy at https://www.upshiftcars.com/insurance/

Each “day” is any period up to 24 hours, no matter when it starts. Use days anytime — they don’t have to be consecutive or on the same calendar day. Unused days roll over for 1 month. Need more? Add extra days anytime.

Upshift is built for people who drive around 1–3 times a week or 3,000–9,000 miles/year — the sweet spot where owning doesn’t make sense, but you still want “your car.”
